Enough was enough

Well I've had enough repairing the History section so a few minutes ago I restricted edits to only registered users.

I canvased the entire user base of the history site and in the end I agreed with myself it wasn't worth the hassle of keeping the Wiki free to edit by anyone.

I know it's sort of defeating the object of a Wiki to make people register if they don't want to but we are getting hundreds of spam edits a week now.  I'm now bored with maintaining it, it was this or I deleted it.

The final straw was broken today.  200 edits to remove spam.

History section is now read only and stands as a folly to the user participation aims of the site.
