I am certain that everyone in the village, and everyone who uses this site, will want to join us in expressing our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the young Man who died in a car accident in the village in the early hours of Saturday morning, (06 03 10).

Yes, such a young life taken I have spoken to some of the family and given them condolences.

This tragedy is under investigation by Norfolk Police, Serious Collision investigation Team. Anyone who can offer any information at all is asked by them to contact PC Richard Peck on 0845 456 4567.

PC Peck is aware of the poor condition of the road and of the thread on this site regarding the 'ski jump' and its long history of being a hazard.

I've just read the ski jump thread again, it's a shame the predictions came true but it was almost inevitable.

20 04 10. Repair markings have appeared on the road here suggesting that NCC is going to have another go at fixing it... let's hope it is to a better standard than it has been in the past. What a shame it took a death to spur them into 'action'.
