SHOW RULES
1. Entries must be submitted on the entry form or by telephone by the Thursday prior to the show. A staging card for each entry must be collected, and entry fees paid prior to staging. Entry fees are 25p per class for adults, free for children. The appropriate staging card must be placed, face downwards, with its respective exhibit on the show bench. If no staging card is present the exhibit may not be judged. No entries will be accepted on the day of the show.
2. No exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit in each class. Two members of a household may not compete in the same class in Sections 2, 3, 4 or 5.
3. All exhibits must be the work or produce of the exhibitor. Horticultural subjects must have been grown by the exhibitor for at least 2 months prior to exhibiting. Flowers used in Section 1 are excluded from this rule.
4. All roots and tubers must be washed prior to staging.
5. All bakery exhibits to be placed in clear polythene bags with twist tie closures.
The Rene Brown Memorial Cup is awarded to the best floral exhibit in Sections 1, 2 or 3.
The Vegetable Challenge Cup is awarded for the most points in Section 5. Points are 3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. Both cups are held for 1 year only.
