OK, since I've posted in General Discussion, Tenny Belle, I guess I had better introduce myself. My name is John Sheible. I live in New Haven, Missouri USA. My uncle, A. Wayne Langendoerfer was a crew member on the Tenny Belle. I have been researching the crash since sometime last year and that's how I found you. I am in Law Enforcement and am the Chief Of Police of New Haven. I have been in police work since 1974. My wife and I have been married for almost 40 years and we have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
I love your website. Barroway Drove sounds quite a bit like my little home town. We are very rural with quite a lot of farmland surrounding us. In looking over the threads I see many of the same complaints that we deal with on a daily basis.
Hope to get the opportunity to come and visit some day.
John Sheible

Hi,
Thought I would write a quick post to intoduce myself online, I'm Louise and we moved in to the Old School in November 2008 from Ely. My husband is Paul and we have a small dog. We met a few people in the village at the AGM back in November which was really good. We have been a bit busy recently with the renovation of our house but would like to get more involved in community events. I'd love to get some of those chickens and I'm hoping to create a vegetable patch in the summer, so any tips on gardening/alotments would be most welcome as I'm a complete novice! I work for the Fire Service as an Administrator.
Tim and Angela, I tried to send you a personal email back in January but not sure if you ever got it? It didn't go in to my sent messages so my pc was probably playing up. Anyway, I took some nice pics of the village in the snow, so I will forward them to you for uploading if you are interested? Louise.

Hi Barroway Drove, My name is Angela. We moved to the village in 2001. My husband steve is in the RAF and works away but is home at the weekends. I have recently given up my job as a nurse to spend more time at home because I just love my garden. We have 2 daughters who have spread their wings and left home (but obviously keep returning) We have enjoyed living in the village although have not integrated as much as we would have liked,

Hi Everyone,
Well as we will be moving to the area very shortly we had best introduce ourselves!
Our names are Mark and Charlene and have been married for 5 years. Currently living in Luton, and have done for all my life (Charlene) and 9 years (Mark) but want to escape the mad rush of it all so here we are. Mark works as a software engineer in Royston and will commute, I used to work as a desinger for a corporate clothing company, but due to the move the commute would be over 2 hours there and then back again, so currently unemployed.
We love animals and have 2 dogs, a golden retriever and yorkie, and also have 1 horse and 1 pony. Once settled we would like to get some chickens and grow our own veg - if we can turn our urban fingers into green ones that is!!!
Fell in love with the area as soon as we saw it and cant imagine anywhere else that we would rather be - and from the sounds of it, you all love it too!!! Which is a good sign I guess!!!
Mark and Charlene (and Pip, Barnie, Banner and Parsley!)
