On Friday 30th October or early hours of Saturday thieves broke into the Village Hall and stole all the copper pipe from the heating system.

They've used what appears to be bolt croppers to cut through all the pipes, leaving the hall flooded from the water in the radiators. Needless to say this is going to be a big blow for the Village Hall as we go into winter without any heating. Due to the selfish nature of these scum at the bottom of the gene pool this act is likely to jeopardise future activities at the hall.

This week we have two activities on at the Village Hall. The first is the children's trick or treat walk. This is organised to be a village wide event so people can trick or treat with their children along our rather dark and somewhat dangerous road as a group.

Meeting at 4:30pm at the Village Hall.

We are starting early this year to allow people to get to the spooky stories evening on the same day.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, can adults please bring torches and if you can have reflective clothing it would be appreciated.

If you wish us to visit your house either put out a pumpkin or email angela.wiseman@barrowaydrove.org you will not get more then 25 children visiting.
