Barroway Drove Community Website

For those of you not able to attend last nights meeting on the proposed house numbering scheme at the Village Hall we have now uploaded the maps and list to the Forums gallery.

This is the first consultation on the proposed scheme and there will be a follow up meeting, at the moment a date hasn't been set but we'll advertise it here as soon as it's arranged.

The need for house numbering is being driven by the emergency services, they require the road/street is named and numbered. In our case the name of the road will become Main Road, Barroway Drove. Lady Drove is unaffected as this is already named and at the moment there aren't any proposed numbers for the properties either.

If you would like to give some feedback on the proposed scheme please click on the MSGFORM link above and we'll pass this along to the Parish Council on your behalf. There is also a thread open on the forum if you would like to discuss the proposals here.

Don't forget tonight the Parish Council will be presenting the plans for property numbering Barroway Drove at the Village Hall.

The Parish Council is required to number each property for the emergency services and this is your opportunity to see the proposed plans. The meeting will be at the Village Hall from 6pm until 7:30pm. Comments from residents of the Village are welcome and will be fed back to the council for consideration.

There will be a follow up meeting in the future but a date hasn't been set yet, presumably this is dependant on the volume of feedback from the residents given at tonight's meeting.
