Barroway Drove Community Website :: Archives for: 2008, week 4 >>>

With all of the rain recently you are more likely thinking about flooding rather than snow, however come February time there is always a chance of a day or two of snow.
We just wanted to remind you of a couple of things this site can offer in the way of information. Firstly a way to check on flood warnings, on the web portal we have a page that links to the Environment Agency site.
To save you finding the floodline information use this page http://www.barrowaydrove.org/typo3/index.php?id=floodline0 to go directly to the information.
Also, talking of snow there is always a possibility if we do get snow this year that the odd school will be closed.
You can see the latest status of all the Norfolk schools here http://www.barrowaydrove.org/typo3/index.php?id=schoolclosures rather than rely on a radio report.
The page is updated regularly by Norfolk county council so you can just refresh it every so often.
Both of these pages come directly from the sources and as such are always as up to date as possible.
